Energy point out. A new regulation of the standard VDE-AR-N 4105 makes this legally possible,
which came into force last Saturday.
Electricity meter must not turn backwards.
This is ensured, for example, by electricity meters with a backstop.
However, the conversion, usually by the network operators, had so far "oftenfaileddue to their lack of cooperation",
as only one procedure existed for the registration of power generation systems via electricians.
With the entry into force of the new VDE-AR-N 4105, all network operators would be obliged,
also accept the registration of plug-in solar devices up to 600 watts by laypersons.
Various grid operators had already translated this into their own reporting forms. For customers of "conservative grid operators
the German society for solar energy (DGS) developed a reporting form conformal with the new standard.
"The real goal, however, is a regulation for balcony solar systems like in Luxembourg.
There, such systems up to a power of 800 watts are exempt from any obligation to register.
